3rd November, 2011. The proceedings of First Indian Mountain Initiative - Sustainable Mountain Development
Summit - 2011 was released by the Chief Guest Mr. B.K. Chaturvedi, IAS (retd.), Hon. Member of Planning Commission, Govt. of India during the
Meet of Indian Mountain States in New Delhi at India International Centre. Mr. Suneel Kumar Muttoo, IAS, Chief Resident Commissioner,
Uttarakhand Government had presided the event.
During the meet Prof. Maharaj K. Pandit, Ms. Bharti Chaturvedi, Dr. Rajnish Karki, Mr. Siddharth Barthakur and Mr. Sushil Ramola presented the issues and concerns of Mountain Development. Prof. T.S. Papola chaired the session.
